Last day riding.. Mixed feelings. Great time had and sad it is done..

Mom gets the speedy horse award

Dad gets the “good form” award

Mom gets the witness to the funniest moment .. (No.. I wasn’t in it)

Dad documents the fallen and wounded rider

Bugs were all around in the forest today…. Thick as flies has a new meaning.. We all feel like we are horse pies after going through this forest! Never attracted so many flies ever..

Bottoms feel tender but still serviceable!

First 3 days were rainy, last 3 days were sunny. Prefer the sun.. really

Love our kids, horses, house, and Connecticut… but sad to leave this beautiful place. Can’t believe it is over .. Glad to have had such a great time.. Here are some new memories..

( oh.. I also made mom proud.. many of the riders asked her where I had taken my lessons to learn to ride so well… she got to tell them she taught me! Her head still fit the helmet so she takes the praise well.)

Day 5.. ready to go.

Mom gets splattered after the first small canter on the beach! Short horse following a Shire!

Tramore beach… Just us and the beach for cantering! Had a great time full out gallop and running in the water/sand. Wait till you see the videos.

Mom and Midnight studying the wildflowers

Me and Murphy .. “Last Men on the Prarie!” Very Handsome dudes huh..

  1. You guys must be really moving to cover as much ground as you did. I bet you're pretty sore. It's a good thing you have a few days before you have to get in a plane and come back!
