What an incredible drive we had today. It was a very narrow road and Bonnie spent most of the day on the edge of her seat! Literally! Rough time on roads narrow enough to be difficult to drive only the pickup through let alone 2 cars! We passed a huge variety of land.. hills, mountains.. forests… and treeless rock covered slopes… We got to go on a ferry across the Irish sea and saw Scotland and England from Ireland! At the end of the day we climbed to the top of one of the highest points in Northern Ireland near Belfast and looked all around the area.. best part was a golf course built in the hills about 2/3rds the way up! So.. with the above plus what you read below we have covered about every important area there is! Lance… can’t wait to show you some of the garden pictures including the water lilies!
We passed this private herd of deer, look at the buck’s antlers. He was a big one. The drive was so beautiful, can’t wait to show you all of the pictures. Have to recharge my camera battery already.
Saint Patricks catherdral is next. Really cool. St. Patrick introduced Christianity to Ireland. Met a lady that volunteers there, and she had us in stitches. Saw the grave of Saint Patrick. Really cool stuff, and very old.

Rich family that deeded the property over to the country, wonderful gardens all around. We toured the mansion, parts of it anyway. Felt like we were in the story of pride and prejudice, hard to believe people lived like this, when the family owned it they had 30 people on staff to take care of it all. Even the Bishop came to the private chapel to do services. 
When you get home, would you put your pictures on a CD or DVD and send to us, please? I would love to see all of them! Karen
