We have a few pictures from today that show our horses and the bay. I am riding on an Irish hunter (Murphy) that is white and rides like dubby. Stubborn but steady. Loves to go and go. Bonnie is on a short Connamera (Midnight) that also loves to go but is a bit green. Bonnie gets to ride her since she is experienced and can help break this pony into trail riding. Bonnie now tells me she is really a Heinz 57 Connamera in that they don’t know what exactly she has in her. But she is tiny. Bonnie has been very good on this girl.

First stop and bit of grass after crossing the beach. Just like Dubby, Murphy loves to steal grass, trees, and bushes on the sly while riding or stopped.
Looks like Bonnie is ready for Monday! Ride finished and Bonnie and Midnight are ready for another go. Happy day.
Muckish mountain looms in the distance. Monday’s ride is to the base and around this mountain. The ride takes you along the old rail way abandoned since they stopped mining in this region some years ago. Horses stay over the night there and they bus us back to the motel.
Just finished T&C (trotting and cantering since we don’t say galloping which means you are out of control) along the beach in 6” deep sand. The horses handled it really well and Midnight galloped to stay up with the long-strided warm bloods in their canter. There is a bunch of spirit in both the girls in this picture!
