Did I say before that things are a little backwards here? Not that this is a bad thing, but tell me why the following is as it is:

· Why do you drive on the left side of the road here vs the right?

· Why do the information signs list the mileage to the nearest town on the bottom with the furtherest town on the top?

· Why is the yellow line on the edge of the road and the white line in the center?

· Why do 2 solid yellow lines mean you might get a ticket if you park here and 2 solid yellow lines with squiggles mean for sure you will get a ticket if you park here?

· Why do the Irish when you so kindly try to convince them that there is another way to drive such as driving on the right side of the road do they just stop in front of you like a big mean bull and wait for you to get back over to the left side??

These things I will be leaving Ireland pondering.

We had a great time at church today. Small branch in Sligo . Only 15 of us total there but the lessons were great and the spirit was great. Warm welcome from the saints. It was a blessing that we found it. I got the B&B by chance, and on our walk from the B&B to center of town to get supper we walked right past the church. It is a rented commercial building and with 2 floors rented and another business next door if we hadn’t been walking by and seen the sign in the window you would have never noticed it. Church started at 11 and we had just a great time. High council Sunday and the high councilor had to drive 2 hrs 15 minutes one way from Dublin to reach the branch. Poor BP was ready to start asking people to bare their testimonies.

This is Knock, where Mary, John the Evangilist, and St. Joseph with the lamb on the alter and the angels circling the alter appeared in 1879 to 15 towns people of varying ages over a period of 2 hours.

Remember John Wayne and Maureen O’ Hare starred in the movie the “Quiet Man”. Well we bought the movie in celebration of being on the film set where it was filmed.

This is the view from the front of the cottage where you see the Protestant Bishop fishing all the time. In the far distance you can see the rain advancing on me. One minute later and I was covered!

Ashford Castle with mom standing by her soldier and new favorite man. I fought desperately for her and eventually beat the bloke. Once again it proves that steel and sword are no match for dashing charisma!
